Senior Data Engineer/ Data Engineer lead- Basel / Switzerland - Permanent - Up to 150K CHF

My client, who is one of the global leaders within the Agriculture industry are looking for a Senior Data Engineer/ or Lead Data Engineer to join their team in Basel - Switzerland on a permanent position.

They are in search for an experienced senior level developer with a background in software engineering, agile methodology and operational ready products (DevOps) to join their Data Platform team as a Technical Lead.

The desired technical/professional background is:

  • 8+ years' relevant software engineering working experience/ Java Or Scala
  • Extensive agile delivery experience
  • Excellent Stakeholder experience
  • Understanding of structured data and unstructured data
  • Understanding of cloud architectures, ideally AWS or MongoDB
