Director eFX Algo Trading Developer-London

Director level Quantitative Developer to join the eFX Quantitative Analysis group and take the lead role in designing, overseeing and extending the architecture and development, build and testing platform across all eFX Quant teams.


  • Strong technical programming (Java, Python, Q/KDB, SQL).
  • Significant exposure to the development and maintenance of a complex algo platform.
  • Strong statistical research and quantitative modelling skills and experience using programming languages such as Python.
  • Good understanding of eFX trading, market microstructure and algorithmic trading.
  • Knowledge of algorithmic trading models.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


  • The candidate will be a lead architect and developer within the global Quant team.
  • The candidate will oversee development across all the eFX Quant teams.
  • The candidate will lead the enhancement of the build and testing infrastructure.
  • The candidate will gather requirements for 25 Quants globally.


  • Msc or PhD in a relevant field (E.g. Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, Physics).
